Dad – We went on a beetle hunting expedition. Ethan, what kind of beetles did we find?
Ethan – You tell it Dad. I’m tired of telling it.
Dad – Fine. We caught a ground beetle.
And a tiger centipede.
Ethan – But it’s not really a beetle.
Dad – I thought I was telling it.
And a rove beetle.
And a click beetle (we think).
Ethan – And we saw a garter snake. I found it, and I touched it with my bug-brush. But we didn’t get a picture.
Dad – Here is a movie we found on the internet instead.
Congrats on catching a beetle! Looks like a good one.
That was tricky saying the post was about beetles and then sneaking a (horrifying) centipede in there. 🙂

We put in the centipede because it is an animal too. It is a really good thing. It doesn’t kill people. It just bites a tiny bit.
